Danny House Concert Series Presents: Imma Setiadi and Nigel Clayton in a Stunning Piano Duet Performance

In an exciting upcoming performance at the Danny House Weekly Concert Series held in the Great Hall, distinguished pianists Imma Setiadi and Nigel Clayton (Professor of Piano at the Royal College of Music) are set to deliver a captivating evening of classical music. Scheduled for June 7 2024 at 7.15pm the duo will perform a dynamic arrangement of Gustav Holst’s “The Planets, Op. 32,” adapted by Day/Lasker.

Imma Setiadi and Nigel Clayton have been lauded for their “impressive precision and deep feeling,” a synergy that resonates powerfully in their performances. Their collaborative spirit has seen them engage in numerous cross-arts projects, including the innovative integration of visual arts and dance in their renditions of Debussy’s “La Mer.”

This performance will also mark the debut of the latest resident of Danny House: a beautifully refurbished Steinway Model O piano. Built in 1902, this rosewood piano is inlaid with decorative patterns and promises to add an extra layer of auditory pleasure to the evening’s program.
