On 2^nd September 2018 we will be hosting The 1918 Lloyd George Garden Party  to commemorate the end of the First World War and to re-enact the garden party Lloyd George held on the lawns at Danny in the summer of 1918. Tickets can be purchased in advance for £5  at  www.hurstfestival.org from 9^th July. There will be two dance orchestras performing in a large traditional marquee, the vintage Harris funfair, a  brass band, re-enactors, a tea tent and bars. Attendees should wear period costume – think Goodwood Revival! In the afternoon we will be unveiling a sculpture of Lloyd George by internationally acclaimed sculptor Philip Jackson.
