This is one of our finest two bedroom historic apartments. It is situated on the second floor in the north wing. The large bedroom is magnificent, incorporating the original vaulted Elizabethan gallery plaster ceiling. The spacious living room has wonderful views across Danny Park and the Downs to the east. The second bedroom has views to the local church. There is a bathroom and small kitchen and plenty of storage space. The apartment has a secondary access via an Elizabethan spiral staircase to the garden which would be ideal if you have a pet.
To live at Danny is to be able to forget about the chores of everyday life. Breakfast, lunch and supper are included in the monthly rental, and experienced cooks provide varied and interesting menus. Cleaning, lighting, heating and maintenance are included, with a staff of ten providing a high level of service, and residents can enjoy the gardens and an estate of 100 acres. It is a unique and civilised way of life, shared by some twenty five active retired people. The Great Hall is our drawing room, and we take our meals together in the dining room. Transport is provided for shopping and cultural visits. It is essentially a homely atmosphere. We enjoy some 70 concerts a year in the Great Hall, which are free for residents to attend.
The all-inclusive monthly charge is £4,500 pcm for a couple and £4,200 for a single person.
