Apartment 26 is sited in the northern courtyard, between the main house and the car park and gardens. It is a one bedroom apartment with a large living room, small kitchen and a bathroom. The living room is particularly spacious, measuring 6.21m by 3.6m and enjoys double windows facing both south and north making it bright and airey. There are two sets of double cupboards and ward-robes in the living room. The bathroom has a shower and the kitchen is recently refurbished with an electric cooker and built in fridge.
The front door gives access to the Courtyard, which has its own lawn and garden.
To live at Danny is to be able to forget about the chores of everyday life. Breakfast, lunch and supper are included in the monthly charge, and experienced cooks provide varied and interesting menus. Cleaning, lighting, heating and maintenance are included, with a staff of nine providing a high level of service. Residents can enjoy the Great Hall as their drawing room and the gardens and estate of 100 acres are there to be enjoyed.
It is a unique and civilized way of life, shared by some twentyfive active residents. A mini bus is provided for shopping and cultural visits. It is essentially a homely atmosphere.
