Mr and Mrs Campion Return to Danny

Two portraits have been purchased and returned to Danny House, having been sold from the house by Christie’s in 1993. They were painted by Thomas Hudson (1701–1779) in c.1727 to mark the occasion of the marriage of William Campion (1707-1778) and his wife to be, Elizabeth Partheriche (an heiress from Ely).
